TREND ALERT: TIE DYE

Since the moment in which Beyoncé wore the tie dye  on holiday on the beach, this trend has reappeared everywhere and all the girls of the world have gone mad for it! Included me of course!

But what is this tie dye ?

Very often  associated with the 60’s or 70’s, this trend is a particular print invented in the USA by Luis C. Changsut.

Born as “tied and dyed” is made with a special  process  which typically consists of folding, twisting, pleating, or crumpling fabric or a garment and binding with string or rubber bands, followed by application of dye(s).

Recently this trend has been protagonist of various catwalks and I could not ignore .
